João Marques is a Security Researcher with the Trellix Advanced Research Center Threat Intelligence Group. In his current role, João is responsible for hunting, analyzing, and enriching threat intelligence to share towards the organization, clients, and community.

Before this role, João worked as a Security Analyst and specialist in a SOC, where he honed his skills in security analysis and threat detection. João is also an avid programmer, which in conjunction with his security knowledge allows him to create automations as means to streamline the gathering, analysis, and enriching tasks, to create a faster and more complete picture of today's threats. He is a highly driven and dedicated professional, constantly seeking to expand his knowledge and skills in the field of security.
